Concerns about safety after DJ Peter Mashata's murder forced Kabza De Small to call off his performance at a significant event in Soshanguve.

Remember that renowned Tshwane MC and DJ Peter "Mashata" Mabuse was murdered in Soshanguve a few days ago? Kabza De Small backed out of an event where he was supposed to perform because of the ongoing gun violence against performing artists that has been happening over the previous few years in Soshanguve.

Zimoja claims that Kabza De Small was scheduled to play at the Bom Extravaganza All Black Edition on April 27, Freedom Day, at Soshanguve. However, in an unexpected development, he withdrew from the performance and informed the organizers of the cancelation.

Kabza De Small made the offer to reimburse the organizers for their original deposit. Kabza was adamant that Soshanguve is off-limits until matters are resolved, despite the management's best efforts to persuade him to keep the assignment.
